Tens of Toddler Suspected with Stunting Taken to Ragunan Zoo

As many as 15 toddler suspected with stunting in Grogol Selatan Urban Village, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district, South Jakarta were taken to Ragunan Zoo.

Grogol Selatan Urban Village Head, Andi Nurcahya, said this program was realised through cooperation with Grogol Selatan Urban Village, Toddler Integrated Health Post, Kebayoran Lama Sub-district Community Health Center, Grogol Selatan Community Health Center, and Ragunan Zoo. The program was held to improve the toddler's motoric development.

"Those 15 toddlers were taken to Ragunan Zoo together with their parents," he said, Tuesday (7/16).

He added that, apart from being given material for children's motor development, toddlers and their parents were also given a tour to see the animal collection.

Andi hopes this program to be held again by inviting other stakeholders or CSR.

"Hopefully this program also contributes in reducing stunting in Grogol Selatan Urban Village," he hoped.

One of the parents, Ika (32), admitted happy to take a tour at Ragunan Zoo. This made her toddler was getting happier and more active.

"I hope that my toddler's mental and physical health will be better maintained, and the insight will increase. Thank you for this," she admitted.
