Channel Crossing Construction on Jalan Lebak Lestari Indah CompletedHe explained after the box culvert was installed directly above it was covered using steel plates. Thus, during the day the road can be crossed by vehicles considering the area is quite busy with motorists because this road connects East Jakarta with Depok and Bekasi.
According to him, this crossing is part of a water channel construction project using the jacking method. Its installation was conducted at the lowest point on the road which is often flooded during rain with a height of 40 to 80 centimeters.
"Later, flooding on the road can go straight into the crossing and flow into the channel with a jacking system until they finally flow into the Rawa Dongkal Reservoir," he explained.
He added the length of the jacking pipe to be installed is 370 meters, the point starts from the bend near the steel shop to SMPN 147. The material used is 150x150x120 centimeter U-Ditch concrete, 120x110x100 centimeter box culvert, 80x80x120 centimeter U-Ditch.
On Jalan Jambore, four diversion points would be excavated and on Jalan SMPN 147 there were two points. The land excavation for the installation of U-Ditch and box culvert varies in size 4x6 meters and 4x6.68 meters with a depth of between 3.86 meters to 6.48 meters.
According to the work contract, the implementation will be executed by a third party from July 18 to November 29 or 125 working days.
