Acting Governor Delivers Message as He Attended the Gubernatorial Election's Debate

Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi attended the second debate of Governor and Vice Governor candidate held by Jakarta KPU at Beach City International Stadium, Ancol, Jakarta, Sunday (10/27).

The presence of Acting Governor Teguh shows the commitment of the Jakarta Provincial Government to help make the Regional Head Election (Pilkada) a success.

"I have said since I was inaugurated that one of my duties is to ensure the regional election is held directly, generally, freely, secretly, honestly, fairly, with dignity and integrity," he said, as quoted from Jakarta Provincial Government's press release, Monday (10/28).

Teguh believes that the Jakarta gubernatorial election will produce the best leader according to what he has listened last night.

"Thanks to the live broadcast debate. Public can see the candidates' performance before finally deciding their vote on November 27th," he added.

Teguh also appealed all parties to comply with applicable provisions.

"Avoid money politics, black campaigns and other detrimental things. Please vote according to your conscience," he continued.

Not only for public, Teguh also delivered same message for Jakarta Provincial Government ranks ranging from civil servant (ASN) and Other Service Providers Individuals (PJLP).

"Anyone who violate will be subject to sanction since neutrality of all employee has been clearly regulated. So let's guard this election for the sake of our expectation," he stated.
