Teguh added that improving public services and resolving urban challenges, especially licensing and health aspects are the main focus of Jakarta's innovation.
Those aspects are strengthened through integrating various innovations, both digital and non-digital. Evaluation remains held through pentahelix synergy to ensure continuity of processes and benefits for the community.
Jakarta has 241 innovations in public services, regional governance, and other innovations related to regional government affairs in 2024. Gerai Mulai Usaha and CEK DAN SADARI are the Jakarta's leading innovation in 2024 both in digital and non-digital categories.
"Jakarta Investment and One-Stop Integrated Service Agency initiated the Gerai Memulai Usaha program to facilitate MSMEs in taking care their business permits for free and completely. It starts from the application to the issuance of permits at the urban village and sub-district," Teguh added.

The innovation has been replicated in three areas namely Senen, Cilincing, and Tambora Community Health Center (Puskesmas).
IVA (Visual Inspection of Acetic Acid) mobile test is provided through this innovation. The service is given without having to come to the health center by utilizing hibiscus cars, carnation motorbike, and gynecology cars. The innovation implementation has succeeded in increasing the achievement of IVA tests from 5.4 percent to 16.56 percent in Senen Sub-district, reducing the potential cost of cancer treatment by Rp 20 million to Rp 40 million per patient, and successfully detecting pre-cancer in 139 women.
In order to provide optimal public services, Teguh hopes that the assessment of the superior innovation can be a trigger for Jakarta Provincial Government ranks to continue developing the research and innovation ecosystem.
