The Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency (Disparekraf) participated in the International Congress and Convention Association 2024 (ICCA) at Abu Dhabi National Exhibition Center (ADNEC), United Arab Emirates.

ICCA Congress is a forum for the Meetings, Incentives, Conferences, and Exhibitions (MICE) industry from all over the world to collaborate globally, bringing out new ideas from across the MICE industry, building relationships and opportunities for collaboration between MICE industries on an international scale.
This year, it has the tagline ‘Tomorrow Starts Today’. Jakarta’s participation in the event, which has been held 63 times, is an effort to develop the potential of MICE tourism in Jakarta.

).Jakarta Disparekraf's Marketing and Attractions Head, Sherly Yuliana uttered there are four main programs available at the 2024 ICCA Congress, namely Technology and Innovation, Sustainability and Environmental Impact, Cultural Awareness & Social Impacts and Business Trends & Growth. ICCA Congress has more than 1,000 members from almost 100 countries and different sectors.
“With the ICCA network covering more than 1,000 members from almost 100 countries, we hope this collaboration will open up new opportunities and strengthen Jakarta’s position in the global MICE industry,” he explained.
As for the information, the Disparekraf is a member of ICCA, together with the Ministry of Tourism and Creative Economy participating in the ICCA Congress 2024 to establish Jakarta as part of a Global city, as well as an effort to convince the world that the Government is present in supporting the implementation of international events in Jakarta, following the latest tagline, namely 'Jakarta Nice For MICE'.
