Jakarta DPRD Commission E emphasized the need for efforts to prevent and handle stunting in the City Budget (APBD) 2025.

Commission E Coordinator who is also Jakarta DPRD Vice Chairperson, Rany Mauliani, said that prevention efforts need to be conducted from the time of pregnancy.

"DPRD will keep pushing for efforts to reduce the number of cases to be maximized," she explained.
Jakarta DPRD Commission Vice Chairperson, Agustina Hermanto, popularly called Tina Toon added continuous efforts were important to reduce stunting rates in Jakarta.
"Reducing stunting rates is one of the priority programs of the Jakarta Government in 2025," she explained.
She hoped that during the discussion of the draft APBD 2025, the Commission E together with the related Regional Apparatus Organizations (OPD) could formulate policies and prepare budgets that were truly on target to reduce stunting.
"This year's stunting reduction achievement will be used as evaluation material for program implementation in the following year," she said.
