N. Jakarta Social Sub-agency Distributes Assistance for Tidal Flood Survivors in Pluit

North Jakarta Social Sub-agency, Wednesday (11/20), distributed 500 food packages to tidal flood survival residents at RW 22, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan.

The assistance is provided to lighten their burden

North Jakarta Social Sub-agency Head, Rizqon Hermawan said the food packages were directly distributed to residents from the urban village.

"The assistance is provided to lighten their burden," he said.

He added that his side will cooperate with urban village to make sure is any of survivors need something else.

Pluit Urban Village Head, Ahmad Faizal, explained the survivors are spread at 12 RTs in RW 22. His side has not opened a refugee post for residents affected by the tidal flood in Muara Angke.

"Thanks God the water has receded at noon. The water level was 10-15 cm," he explained.

His side is still deploying personnel to anticipate if the water increases and is impacted the residents.

There are 20 PPSU personnel, seven SDA taskforce, four Jakarta BPBD personnel, and four Tagana personnel standby on the location.

"We also have Satpol PP, Binmas, and Babinsa personnel there," he stated.
