Commission B Vice Chair: Jakarta Tourism Must Develop More

Jakarta DPRD Commission B Vice Chairman, Wahyu Dewanto says the tourism sector in Jakarta must keep being developed.

I encourage people to travel and explore many places in Jakarta, including when celebrating New Year

According to him, tourism promotion must continue to be improved in order to make tourist destinations more attractive to local and foreign tourists.

"Jakarta has become an international destination because of its friendly transportation and cheap culinary. The destination is quite good," he expressed, Wednesday (12/11).

Commission B: City Government Must Optimize Tourism Sector

He explained the Jakarta Provincial Government is currently improving and increasing infrastructure facilities to support tourism. Thus, tourists could spend time comfortably and enjoy their vacation.

"I encourage people to travel and explore many places in Jakarta, including when celebrating New Year," he explained.

He added it could also be optimized creatively and innovatively. To realize it more, the Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency could collaborate with various stakeholders to push tourism attraction in Jakarta.

"Venue must be clean and no traffic jam. We will support it by increasing tourist attraction in Jakarta by running its functions and duties, one of which is supervising the development of tourist destinations," he stated.
