Regional Working Units Appealed to Intensify Revenue and Budget Spending

Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi led a meeting with Regional Working Units in theme Monitoring and Evaluation of City Budget 2024 Spending at City Hall, Thursday (12/12).

The meeting was also attended by Jakarta Regional Secretary, Marullah Matali together with four Assistants and Regional Monetary Board Head.

Teguh appealed all regional working units to optimize the increase of revenue and budget spending considering it is now mid-December 2024.

Based on Jakarta BPKD data up to December 10, Revenue relaization reached Rp 68.61 trillion or 91.54 percent while the target up to end of the year is Rp 73.95 trillion (98.67 percent). Then the budget spending realization reached Rp 56.83 trillion (74.75 percent) with the target up to the end of the year by Rp 70.15 trillion (92.27 percent).

"Extra efforts are needed to increase revenue realization by Rp 5.34 trillion or an increase of 7.13 percent and the spending budget by Rp 13.32 trillion or around 17.52 percent in the next 19 days," Teguh said, Thursday (12/12).

Teguh asked OPD to ensure that spending realization reaches at least 93 percent until the end of 2024 considering that spending realization in the 2023 city budget was 92.55 percent.

Teguh also appealed the heads of regional working unit to complete the payment related to project finalization by focusing on accountability method.

"Please ensure that all activities output and outcome are achieved and that the target for the Increased Use of Domestic Products (P3DN) is met by the end of the year. Internal control improvement and supervision system through checking the adequacy of cash in the expenditure and receipt treasurer; suitability of the condition of goods/progress of work implementation, quantity, and quality of spending realization," he added.

Teguh also instructed Regional Secretary and all Assistants to monitor the completion of performance target and realization in the last 19 days.

"Inspectorate, BPKD, and BPPBJ please provide assistance in order to achieve prudent and accountable performance targets," he stated.
