Fire incident is still a serious problem for Jakartans. In Central Jakarta for instance, around 47 fire cases have attacked throughout January-May 2015. The material loss itself reached Rp 166,09 billion.

Head of Central Jakarta Fire Handling and Rescue Sub-Department, Idris Daharina Na"abah stated 2,755 people or 645 family heads lost their home.

"The worst fire was in February with material loss by more than Rp 15 billion and its frequency reached 11 times. In March, the loss increased more than Rp 144 billion with frequency 12 times," he explained, Friday (5/22).

Most of fire cause is electrical short-circuit, where it occurred in densely populated areas.

"The worst fire this year is in a densely populated area in Karang Anyar, indeed it is very prone to fire," he explained.
