Taman Kebon Tebu Park in Cikoko Provides Child-friendly Facilities

The Fourth Quarter Superior Area arrangement located on Jalan Cikoko Barat, RW 04, Cikoko Urban Village, Pancoran Sub-district, South Jakarta, finally completed. The location for its arrangement is named Taman Kebun Tebu and is completed with children's playground facilities.

Hopefully, it will provide great benefits for residents

Cikoko Urban Village Head, Fadhilah Nursehati said that prior to arrangement, the location was used as illegal parking.

"It is based on a request from environmental administrators who have discussed it with residents," she expressed, Monday (12/16).

She explained the 60x2-meter-wide Teman Kebon Tebu Park, which began to be developed in October 2024, involved eight PPSU personnel assisted by the South Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency in providing plants.

"Naming Taman Kebon Tebu Park is a proposal from the community so that the current generation knows about the history of Cikoko area which was formerly known as Kebon Tebu," she explained.

In the park, there is a green park equipped with children's playground facilities, murals, park lights, colorful curbs, seating areas for residents, waste sorting facilities, stones, and therapy fish ponds.

With facilities that pamper residents, this park will be a recreation spot and children's playground for local children. She added, building social and public facilities for residents to use is a manifestation of the government's efforts to welcome Jakarta as a global city that will also celebrate Jakarta's five centuries in 2027.

"We also urge residents to take good care of what we have built and provided. Hopefully, it will provide great benefits for residents," she added.

RW 04 Chairperson, Kalimi expressed his gratitude for the creation of a fairly green park equipped with excellent facilities, especially for children.

"We appreciate the urban village head and his staff's hard work where we have this very beautiful and useful park," he stated.
