Gas Cylinder Leak Causes Fire on Jalan Budi Mulia, One Injured

A gas cylinder leak caused the fire in a resident house on Jalan Budi Mulia, RT 11/12, Pademangan Barat Urban Village, Pademangan, North Jakarta, Tuesday (12/17) morning.

We send 20 firefighters and four fire engines to the fire location

North Jakarta and Seribu Islands Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat) Head, Rahmat Kristanto said the fire report was received at around 8.19 AM and he immediately sent firefighters to the scene.

"We send 20 firefighters and four fire engines to the fire location," he expressed.

128 Personnel Handle Fire in Kebon Kosong

When the first personnel arrived at around 8.23 AM, the fire had already spread. Luckily, they managed to handle it within ten minutes and continued with cooling at 8.37 AM.

"Cooling takes 15 minutes," he added.

Fire and Rescue Section Head, Gatot Sulaeman uttered the cause was allegedly a leak in the LPG gas cylinder used for cooking.

"One person suffered minor burns on his right arm and calf, around 2 people, and were rushed to the Pademangan Regional Hospital (RSUD)," he stated.
