The Jakarta Provincial Government again won the Informative Public Agency Award 2024 at Public Information Disclosure (KIP) Monitoring and Evaluation (Monev) event, Tuesday (12/17) evening.
The award achieved is not just ceremonial, but also seriously improve the ability to serve the public better consistently
This award was held by Central Information Commission and Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi), at Movenpick Hotel, Pecenongan, Central Jakarta.
The top three awards in the Provincial Government category is a form of openness of public information to the public achieved by Jakarta Government and maintained the predicate for seven consecutive times, since 2018.

"The award, which has been won for the seventh time since 2018, is proof of real work to realize the transparency and openness of information that residents need," he expressed.
He hoped that this award could be a motivation for OPDs under Jakarta Government to work better to serve the public. It was because the challenges of managing public information in the future would not be easy considering the speed of dynamic information flow, OPD must be more adaptive to keep up with the times.

As for the information, monitoring and evaluation is held to measure public agency compliance in implementing Public Information Disclosure and evaluating the implementation of public information service standards.
The assessment aspects of the Public Information Openness Monev 2024 include assessment of questionnaire monitoring with indicators, namely Public Information announcements; Provision of Public Information Documents, website development, PPID institutions and Procurement of Goods/Services.
Further, the evaluation assessment during the Public Test Presentation covers aspects of Quality and Type of Information, Infrastructure, Organizational Commitment, and Digitalization.
Meanwhile, assessment of visits to certain public bodies is based on aspects of suitability of infrastructure and understanding of Information and Documentation Management Officials (PPID).
