PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) collaborates with Brightspot to trial the newest tour bus innovative product namely 'Open Top Tour of Jakarta'.

This open-top double-decker bus service is provided to support Jakarta's as a global city.

PT Transjakarta's Public Relation and CSR Department Head, Ayu Wardhani, said the bus is designed to operate at night with its route called 'Starry Night of Jakarta'.

She added that the bus offers various facilities that are not available in other tour buses. Those are silent headphone to listen tour guide's narration and music for trip comfort, and up to Collaborative Merchandise for customers.

The Open Top Tour of Jakarta program, Ayu continued, is a concrete innovation step of Transjakarta in tourism transportation sector.

"The bus offers the sensation of Jakarta's beauty at night to provide new experience that integrates culture, history and modernity of Jakarta," she said, Saturday (12/21).

Ayu continued that the Open Top Tour of Jakarta is also part of Transjakarta's commitment to innovate not only as public transportation provider but also the tourism and creative economy driver.

"Hopefully the program can be part of Jakarta's urban tourism and strengthens Jakarta as a modern and iconic city globally," she added.

Ayu also hopes the service can also be a new Jakarta tourism icon and equal with Hop On Ho Off services in global cities such as London and Kuala Lumpur.

"Jakarta's image as a creative and tourist-friendly city can be strengthened through the service by integrating elements of culture, history and modernity," she stated.
