2,731 Passengers Depart from Tanjung Priok Terminal

As many as 2,731 passengers have been departed from Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal, North Jakarta, since Wednesday (12/18) to Sunday (12/22) during Christmas and New Year holidays.

The peak is predicted to occur tomorrow

Tanjung Priok Bus Terminal Head, Muzofar Surya Alam said passengers were departed to East Java, Central Java, West Java and Banten.

"The number of passenger is increasing since last Friday. The peak is predicted to occur tomorrow," he said, Monday (12/23).

In detail, the number of passengers departed on Wednesday (12/18) were 439 people by using 65 buses. Then on Thursday (12/19) were 322 people by using 66 buses.

Next, Friday (12/20) were 573 people by using 68 buses, Saturday (12/22) were 643 people by using 745 buses. Then Sunday (12/22) were 745 people by using 68 buses.

North Jakarta Health Sub-agency Head, Lysbeth Regina Pandjaitan admitted her side also activates health posts at Tanjung Priok Terminal, Kali Adem Port and Muara Angke Terminal up to Friday (1/3).

According to her, there are three medical personnel consist of doctor, nurse and crew on the post. The medical personnel will provide free health service for passengers or crews.

"The post applies two working shifts," she admitted.
