Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi assured that the Regional Leadership Communication Forum (Forkopimda) will maintain the smoothness and security of Christmas and New Year.

Based on the Transportation Ministry's survey, the potential for community movement is estimated to reach 110.67 million people.
"This number increased by 2.83 percent or 3.04 million people compared to the previous year," he explained.
He added the police/army (TNI) and related stakeholders would hold the Lilin-2024 operation from December 21, 2024 to January 2, 2025.
"This operation involves 141,605 joint personnel, consisting of 75,447 personnel of police, 80,856 personnel of TNI, and 53,332 personnel of stakeholders," he explained.
He added the police had set up 2,794 posts, consisting of 1,852 security posts, 735 service posts, and 207 integrated posts spread throughout the region to ensure security at 61,452 objects, such as churches, shopping centers, terminals, stations, ports, airports, tourist sites, and New Year celebration locations.
"Hopefully, it is capable of providing a prime service and security to the public," he asserted.
He added the peak of mudik (exodus) would be seen from December 21 to 28, 2024, and the peak of returning flow from December 29 to January 1, 2025.
Therefore, he instructed all his staff to be aware of potential vulnerabilities on crossing routes, toll roads, and arterial roads, as well as passenger density on public transportation and visitor density at tourist sites.
The police through Korlantas together with Directorate General of Transportation, Directorate General of Sea, and Directorate General of Bina Marga have issued a Joint Decree that regulates restrictions on goods transport operations, implementation of traffic diversion, sea crossings, delaying systems and buffer zones, temporary stopping of construction project work, and closure and temporary conversion of vehicle weighing locations.
