Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi accompanied by City Secretary, Marullah Matali, visited the Vincentius Putra Orphanage and the Sasana Tresnawerda Karya Kasih Orphanage in Central Jakarta, Tuesday (12/24).

Acting Governor Teguh Reviews Events Welcoming Christmas in JakartaHe hoped that Jakarta can be a city that makes all its residents proud.
"I also hope that this year's Christmas celebrations and services could run smoothly and solemnly," he hoped.
He then gave a message to the children of the Vincentius Putra and Putri Orphanage to continue to be enthusiastic about learning to achieve their dreams. Thus, they could be able to contribute to the development of the nation and state.
At the same time, he and Marullah distributed Christmas gifts and Ancol tickets to those children.
"We're also truly committed to how we can build Jakarta together," he explained.

He explained the Vincentius Putra Orphanage has 152 children and Vincentius Putri has 127 children.
"Here we are, who joyfully welcome the birth of Christ, perfected or completed by the arrival of the Governor," he added.
Afterwards, Teguh visited to the Sasana Tresnawerda Karya Kasih Eldery Home, Central Jakarta. There were about 30 elderly people.
He also gave Christmas gifts and basic food assistance to them.
"This gift is in celebration of Christmas. May this Christmas bring peace and love. Hopefully, all worship can run smoothly, safely, comfortably, and without any problems," he hoped.
As planned, he was also set to visit several churches this afternoon. His visit aimed at ensuring that Christmas services run safely and smoothly.
