Dishub Prepares for Heightened New Year's Eve Traffic

The Jakarta Transportation Agency (Dishub) wants to allow the city's people to enjoy a more comfortable New Year’s Eve celebration by ensuring better traffic conditions during the festivities.

We prepare modification of Transjakarta's operating hours and its trajectory during New Year's Eve

Jakarta Dishub Head, Syafrin Liputo said his agency made adjustments to several bus routes in a bid to ensure public transportation services run smoothly, even though several main roads were closed.

"We prepare modification of Transjakarta's operating hours and its trajectory during New Year's Eve," he expressed, Monday (12/30).

The step taken was to modify its lane, with operating hours starting from 6 PM to 2 AM, including:

1. Blok M - Kota (1): modification via Corridor 13 and 9

2. Tanjung Priok - Bundaran Senayan (10H): shortening the route and U-turn at Petamburan

3. Monas - JIS (14A): shortening the route to Pecenongan

4. Pantai Maju - City Hall (1A): operating diversion route via Pantai Maju - Juanda

5. Pulo Gadung - Monas (2): operating diversion route via Pecenongan for both direction

6. Pulo Gadung - Rawa Buaya via City Hall (2A): operating diversion route via Juanda

7. Senen - Transport Hub Dukuh Atas (2P): modification via Jalan Imam Bonjol

8. Kalideres - Monas via Veteran (3): operating diversion route via Kalideres - Juanda

9. Kalideres-Gelora Bung Karno (3F): shortening the route and U-turn at Petamburan

10. Pemuda Merdeka-Bundaran Senayan (4C): modification via Jalan Imam Bonjol

11. Cililitan - Juanda (5C): operating diversion route via Cililitan - Pecenongan

12. Kampung Melayu - Tanah Abang via Cikini (5M): operating diversion route via Pejambon

13. Tebet Station - Bundaran Senayan (6D): operating via Flyover to Karet (Car Free Day trip)

14. Manggarai Station - Blok M (6M): shortening the land to Kuningan Intersection

15. Ragunan - GBK (6V): shortening the land to Tegal Mampang

16. Kampung Rambutan - Juanda via Cempaka Putih (7F): operating diversion route via Kampung Rambutan - Pecenongan

17. Pasar Minggu - Tanah Abang (9D): operating via Slipi (Car Free Day trip)

Aside that, there will also be adjustments to operating hours, especially during Car Free Night (CFN), from 5 AM to 6 PM, as follows;

1. Palmerah Station - Tosari (1B): offline

2. Palmerah Station - Bundaran Senayan (1F): offline

3. Tanah Abang - Gondangdia (1H) Station: offline

4. Tanah Abang - Blok M (1N): offline

5. Senen - Blok M (1P): offline

6. Senen - Tanah Abang (1R): offine

7. Gondangdia - City Hall (2Q): offline

8. Ragunan - City Hall via Kuningan (6A): the fleet serves Corridor 6 during CFN

9. Ragunan - City Hall via Semanggi (6B): the fleet serves Corridor 6 during CFN

10. Pinang Ranti - Bundaran Senayan (9C): the fleet serves Corridor 9 during CFN
