Acting Jakarta Governor, Teguh Setyabudi and Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Khoirudin, launched FoodHub and Resik Rice from PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya at the Cipinang Rice Plant, East Jakarta, Monday (12/30).

"This digitalization is important to improve efficiency and operations, as well as to make it easier for them (MSME) to get financing support from banking institutions in developing their businesses," he explained.
He added the Resik rice product, the result of collaboration with PT Sin Inti, was expected to be an option for consumers who want premium rice products at affordable prices.
"Hope collaboration and synergy between various parties can provide new high-quality products at affordable prices," he hoped.
Therefore, the collaboration between PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya and PT Sin Inti was very important in developing Resik rice products and this FoodHub could increase the competitiveness of MSMEs and strengthen the city's food security.
"We also hope that this program can be a good pilot for other BUMDs to innovate and contribute to the public," he continued.
The launching above received appreciation from Jakarta DPRD Chairman, Khoirudin. Those two programs were deemed strategic steps in improving food security in Jakarta.
"Resik Rice product is one of the products that can contribute to improving the sustainability and quality of food in Jakarta," he explained.
He also stressed the importance of innovation and collaboration in realizing better food security. The problem of food security is an important issue for Jakarta with its very dense population.
"Jakarta must be able to ensure that residents' food can be met with sufficient quality and affordability. Hence, the Jakarta DPRD strongly supports various efforts and policies to improve food security in terms of production, distribution, and consumption," he asserted.
Such FoodHub program launched is a concept to increase efficiency in food distribution and create the most profitable partnerships between farmers, producers, distributors, and consumers.
He hoped that this program would create synergy between the government, private and community sectors in maintaining the stability of food supplies and supporting the welfare of farmers and entrepreneurs in the food sector.
"We must continue to innovate, work together, and collaborate to ensure that Jakarta can become a city that is not only economically advanced, but also safe and prosperous for all its residents," he furthered.
PT Food Station Tjipinang Jaya President Director, Karyawan Gunarso uttered the launch of two innovative programs at the end of 2024 was to support food security in Jakarta.
He explained the Foodhub program was designed to empower MSMEs through digitalization of transactions, guarantee of supply, food distribution, mentoring and business coaching, supporting financing, and improving the economy.
"By so, we, Food Station can further strengthen its function and support, and develop the people's economy, namely through MSMEs," he explained.
He added the program would target more than 33,000 stalls and grocery stores in Jakarta that are members of Jakpreneur.
"We also launched Resik Rice product that will be distributed through the FoodHub network. The production of this premium rice is a collaboration with PT Sin Inti Indonesia," he stated.
