Council Appreciates Bentang Harapan to Welcome Five Centuries of Jakarta

Jakarta City Council Legislator, Ghozi Zulazmi appreciated Jakarta Provincial Government's Bentang Harapan (JakASA) event to welcome five centuries of Jakarta.

Bentang Harapan was an event held by Jakarta Provincial Government at end of year to let residents write their hope for Jakarta ahead of its 500th anniversary.

He said the event showed that Jakarta Provincial Government gave room for residents in delivering their input regarding better Jakarta development.

"It must be appreciated since Jakarta Provincial Government involved residents in its future development," he said, Thursday (1/2).

Ghozi hopes this event can be a milestone in 2025 to smooth Jakarta Provincial Government's programs and policies that can give welfare for its residents.

"Bentang Harapan is a good thing to start 2025," he added.

He wants the Bentang Harapan to be a bridge to advance Jakarta as a global city.

"Bentang Harapan with residents' message must be a concern," he continued.

Furthermore, Ghozi also appreciated the Muhasabah to welcome 2025 also held by Jakarta Provincial Government. The event can be a reflection for all sides.

"The muhasabah is also a reflection to evaluate things we have not done maximally in 2024. The event should make us better," he said.

According to him, Jakarta City Council will always support good things provided by Jakarta Provincial Government. Also be a strategic partner to realize Jakarta Provincial Government's program and activity.

"The most important thing is programs that can give prosperity for Jakarta residents," he stated.
