Kalideres Terminal: Thousands of Mudik Travelers Return to Jakarta

Thousands of returning travelers reportedly arrived at the Kalideres AKAP Bus Terminal, West Jakarta after Christmas and New Year holidays.

3,293 passengers arrived at the terminal

Kalideres AKAP Bus Terminal Head, Revi Zulkarnaen said this year's number of returning travelers continued to increase until Saturday (1/4) afternoon.

"From January 1 to 4, at noon, 354 buses carrying 3,293 passengers arrived at the terminal," he expressed, Sunday (1/5).

1.521 Passengers Arrive at Lebak Bulus Bus Terminal

He explained travelers arriving on January 4 until 1 PM were recorded as 975 people transported using 70 buses.

To serve them, he involved 120 joint personnel to open integrated services in the terminal. Those 120 personnel were namely Satpol PP, Dishub, Dinkes, police, and army (TNI).

"We also provide six Transjakarta buses as night service (Amari), Jaklingko microtrans, and city transportation to serve travelers arriving at night," he uttered.
