Kampung Rambutan Terminal Sees Arrival of 15,277 Mudik Travelers

The Rambutan Bus Terminal, East Jakarta has noted that around 15,277 mudik travelers have returned to Jakarta from January 1 to 5, 2025.

Yesterday, we received 5,393 travelers with 162 buses

Kampung Rambutan Terminal Controller, Mulyono said the peak of the return flow had been seen since last Saturday.

"Yesterday, we received 5,393 travelers with 162 buses. Most came from West Java, East Java, Central Java, and its surrounding areas," he explained, Sunday (1/5).

Kalideres Terminal: Thousands of Mudik Travelers Return to Jakarta

According to him, the return flow was still happening today as it was the last day of the school holidays.

"Until 8 AM, we welcomed 205 travelers with 17 buses. Returning travelers will keep coming tonight," he explained.

In total, until 8 AM, there had been 15,277 travelers on 1,165 buses arriving at the terminal, here are the details:

- January 1: 2,598 passengers with 220 buses

- January 2: 3,282 passengers with 372 buses

- January 3: 3,799 passengers with 394 buses

- January 4: 5,393 passengers with 162 buses

While today, until 8 AM, there were 205 travelers who arrived using 17 buses.

As for departure, as follows:

- January 1: 834 passengers with 92 buses

- January 2: 693 passengers with 81 buses

- January 3: 901 passengers with 125 buses

- January 4: 1,117 passengers with 145 buses
