Petamburan Fire Survivors Get Cash Assistance

Central Jakarta Baznas Bazis sent cash aid for 27 heads of fire survivor families in RT 10/08, Petamburan Urban Village, Tanah Abang, Monday (1/6).

Hopefully, this aid will motivate residents to be more enthusiastic 

This cash aid was handed over directly by Tanah Abang Sub-district Head Suprayogie at Petamburan Urban Village office.

According to him, some of the fire survivors had started repairing their houses and were no longer living in refugee camps.

"Hopefully, this aid will motivate residents to be more enthusiastic and steadfast in improving their lives," he asserted.

Central Jakarta Baznas Bazis Coordinator, Muhammad Raja Zamzami explained the cash aid is one of the programs for residents affected by the fire. Rp 2 million was disbursed to each recipient.

"Hopefully, it can lighten their burden," he hoped.

As for the information, the fire incident on November 28, 2024, destroyed 13 homes and caused 50 people to have to live in evacuation sites.
