The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) is urging Jakartans to prepare themselves with umbrellas and rain coats as it predicts that rain will pour over Jakarta areas on Thursday (1/9).

BMKG informed that North Jakarta and Seribu Islands are predicted to see rain accompanied by lightning with air temperature of 24-30 degrees Celsius and air humidity reaching 70-93 percent.
As for Central Jakarta, West Jakarta, South Jakarta, and East Jakarta, they will be showered with light rain with air temperature of 23-28 degrees Celsius and air humidity reaching 76-97 percent.
