Heavy rain that poured Jakarta areas since Wednesday (1/8) last night caused inundation in several areas. The inundation occurred at five RTs and three roads in Jakarta now recede fully, Thursday (1/9) at 2 PM.

"BPBD noted that all inundation in several areas in Jakarta have recede fully at 2 PM," said Acting Head Jakarta BPBD, Isnawa Adji, Thursday (1/9).

According to him, his side together with related regional working units handled the inundation by deploying taskforce personnel and supporting equipments in each areas. The efforts run were deploying mobile pump to dispose water and ensured water channels run smoothly.

"Inundation handling was also supported by urban village and sub-district heads through PPSU personnel. Community sides such as RT/RW, FKDM, and public figures were also involved," he stated.
