Penjaringan Sub-district Water Resource Implementer Unit, North Jakarta conducts water channel normalization on Jalan Pluit Permai Raya, RT 01/05, Pluit Urban Village. The work is targeted to complete February.

Penjaringan Sub-district's Water Resource Implementer Unit Head, Pendi said the normalization is run by widening the channel.
"The channel is widened from 20 cm to 30 cm. We also construct the collapsed retaining wall," he said, Thursday (1/23).

"Eight personnel with their equipment are deployed to do the work," he added.
Meanwhile, one of local residents, Moris (48), stated the collapsed retaining wall happened since end of last year.
He hopes the normalization will smooth the water flow and it surely prevents inundation in the area.
"Hopefully it will complete on time," he stated.
