Subsidized LPG Stocks on Seribu Island Remain Safe

Seribu Island Regency through local Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency ensured the stock, distribution and price stability of subsidized Liquefied Petroleum Gas (LPG) remain safe.

Seribu Island Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency's Energy Section Head, Parulian Simanjuntak, admitted there was no problem or long line of people waiting to buy the subsidized gas.

"So far is normal," he said, Thursday (2/6).

Parulian added central government's policy regarding retailers who are still allowed to sell subsidized gas made the condition normally.

"We will intensify the stock and distribution monitoring especially ahead of fasting month and Eid ul Fitr," he added.

Panggang Island Urban Village Secretary, Muhammad Nuralim, stated that the subsidized LPG stocks on Panggang Island remain safe and adequate.

"Distribution from agent to base runs smoothly. We'll keep running the monitoring to avoid unwanted thing," he stated.

According to him, 600 LPG cylinders spread at distributors, agents, and retailers in Panggang Island Urban Village. It means the resident can buy the subsidized LPG at the retailers.

Meanwhile, one of the seller agents in Panggang Island, Mitun, stated that the subsidized LPG stocks remain safe and adequate.

"The price is different due to transportation cost," he admitted.
