Tabebuya Trees Make Sambas Park Greener

The South Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency (Tambut) keeps intensifying greening by planting Tabebuya trees in Sambas Asri Park, Kramat Pela Urban Village, Kebayoran Baru Sub-district.

Today we plant seven trees

South Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency Head, Djauhar Arifien said the tree planting also serves to beautify the park and improve air quality.

"Today we plant seven trees," he expressed, Friday (2/7).

He hoped that it could increasingly become an attraction of Sambas Asri Park

"Certainly, greening efforts will continue to be intensified in South Jakarta," he explained.

So, he urged residents and visitors of the park to help take care of the trees and park facilities, instead of littering or vandalism.

"The park is quite crowded with visitors, so hopefully we all help take care of this park well," he stated.
