The Central Jakarta Parks and City Forest Sub-agency (Tamhut), planted 60 trees along the green belt of Jalan Jenderal Ahmad Yani, Cempaka Putih Timur, Cempaka Putih, Friday (5/3).

Central Jakarta Tamhut Sub-agency Head, Mila Ananda explained tree planting is a routine agenda every weekend. Planting utilizes various land such as green belts, parks and land that has not been utilized by the owner.
"It is intensified when we see the space. It makes the Central Jakarta area greener and more beautify," she asserted.

"We deployed 35 personnel to the location," she explained.
Lane and Cemetery Section Head, Budi Hidayat explained the 60 trees planted were 20 trees type Tabebuya Kuning and 40 trees type Tecomastan.
"From early January to May 3, we have planted around 155 trees," he stated.
