The Kelapa Gading Sub-District Satpol PP is planning to raid scores of street vendors alongside Jalan Boulevard Artha Gading, North Jakarta. It aims to minimize traffic congestion.
Commonly, those street vendors who use cart start selling since afternoon until night. It is allegedly to avoid the raid every morning and noon.

We have secured 150 street vendors' carts throughout 2 years," said Chief of Kelapa Gading Sub-District Satpol PP, Victor Siahaan, Wednesday (6/3).
According to Siahaan, as many as 60 personnel are sent everyday in street vendors-prone areas.
Kelapa Gading Sub-District Head, Musa Syafrudin added one of street vendors' way to avoid being raided is by using motorbike to sell. His side is often involved in chases action with those street vendors during raid.
"In future, we will hold a massive raid at night. We will not hold socialization anymore, they will be secured if violate the rules," asserted Syafrudin.
