5 Thousands of Kiosks Provided in Lokbin

As much as 5 thousands kiosks owned by PD Jaya Market which are spread in 24 traditional markets in South Jakarta will be used as a guidance location (lokbin) for street vendors.

"Street vendors who have been controlled will be relocated to markets that still have empty kiosks. Based on PD Jaya Market record, there are 5 thousands empty kiosks in South Jakarta," said Head of Economic Division for South Jakarta Administration, Shinta Damayanti, Tuesday (6/2).
Damayani hoped the street vendors who settle in the market would have the great competitiveness. Besides that, they can also increase their earnings.
Street Vendor's Lokbin to Be Built in Kalisari"The vendors can enjoy selling in market rather than in the roadside which is uncomfortable of being raided and they can save money from the sale," explained former Vice Head of Cilandak Sub-District.
She claimed she has held socialization to the vendors thus they are willing to be relocated. The socialization also targets to some guidance location.
