He detailed, there were 76 animals vaccinated against rabies at the location, consisting of 71 cats, two dogs, two monkeys, and one civet.
"All vaccinated animals met the requirements, such as being healthy or not sick and not pregnant," he added.
He hopes that the routine rabies vaccination could maintain Jakarta's status as a rabies-free city for 20 years.
"Hopefully, if their pets are healthy, the owners will also be healthy," he conveyed.
Ayuning (27), a local resident, said that she obtained information about the rabies vaccination from the South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency's Instagram page.
"I am very grateful to the South Jakarta KPKP Sub-agency for administering rabies vaccination to my cat free of charge," she concluded.
