"We also provided medical services for sick cats and give them vitamins," she added.
Since the rabies virus can be transmitted by pets through bites or open wounds, similar program will continue to be carried out on an ongoing basis.
"Anti-rabies vaccination will be held next month in Ancol Urban Village. Hopefully the effort will be able to maintain Jakarta status as free rabies city," she stated.
Meanwhile, one of residents living at RT 14/09, Koja Urban Village, Lina Amelia admitted happy with the program. She was able to bring her four cats to get vaccine.
She hopes the vaccination program can anticipate the spread of rabies and maintain her pets health.
"I try to participate in maintaining Jakarta status as free rabies city by bringing my cats here," she admitted.
