Honorary Board Award Boosts Jakarta City Council Legislators Performance

Jakarta City Council is about to hold Honorary Body Award 2025 for the first time as the appreciation for legislators for their performance.

Jakarta City Council Honorary Body Chairman, Yudha Permana said the award aims to give positive support for the sake of all members better performance.

"This is first program of Jakarta City Council named Honorary Body Award to appreciate Jakarta CIty Council member performance in a year period," he said, Wednesday (2/12).

He added that the assesment for the legislator will be run in April up to November 2025 by the Honoary Body.

"The Honorary Body Award ceremony will be held in December 2025," he added.

Yudha explained the award will be given for those who are truly have high legality, conception, and integrity for Jakarta City Council and Jakarat citizens.

"It is hoped the legislator performance will go up every year and the impact can be felt by residents," he explained.

During the implementation, the Honorary Body will collaborate with the Executives. That's why today's meeting was attended by Tourism and Creative Economy Agency, Culture Agency, Communication Information and Statistic Agency, and Regional Cooperation Board to discuss related with the program.

"We need a good collaboration and valid information related with the event implementation," he continued.

Meanwhile, Acting Jakarta City Council Secretary, Augustinus welcomed the event positively.

"Hopefully the event will motivate the legislators to improve their performance and service for residents," he hoped.
