50 Vehicles Controlled in C. Jakarta on the First Day of Parking Orderly Month

Joint personnel sanctioned 50 vehicles violating the rules on the first day of Parking Orderly Month in Central Jakarta, Wednesday (2/12).

Involving joint personnel from Satpol PP, Transportation Sub-agency assisted by Indonesian Army and Police officers, this illegal parking operation was carried out along Jalan Kramat Raya to Jalan Salemba Raya, as well as around Pasar Baru and Mangga Dua shopping center areas.

Senen Sub-district Satpol PP Head, Aries Cahyadi conveyed, 25 illegally parked motorcycles on sidewalks and road sides along Kramat Raya-Salemba were flattened.

"We also blocked 13 street vendors who occupy the sidewalks," he said, Thursday (2/13).

In areas around Pasar Baru and Mangga Dua, Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency officers raided 25 illegally parked motorcycles.

"There are 25 illegally parked motorcycles that we towed using trucks. This is to give deterrent effect," said Central Jakarta Transportation Sub-agency Head, Wildan Anwar.

For information, the Parking Orderly Month program will be intensified in Central Jakarta until March 12.

Not only targeting vehicles that illegally parked on sidewalks and road sides, but also controlling those who occupy parks and land without permits and illegal parking attendants.
