Traffic Engineering Implemented on Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan and Asemka Intersection

The Jakarta Transportation Agency is implementing traffic engineering on Jalan Pintu Besar Selasa and intersection of Jalan Jembatan Batu-Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan (Asemka) following the start of Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) Phase 2 CP203 construction work. 

"The implementation starts from February 15 to May 20, 2025,"

Jakarta Transportation Agency Head, Syafrin Liputo stated, the work will be carried out in stages. In order to support the work, his side will implement traffic engineering according to the work stages.

"The implementation starts from February 15 to May 20, 2025," he conveyed.

Transjakarta Puts Officers on Alert at Railway Crossings for Safety

Details on traffic engineering carried out according to construction work stages as follows:

a. Stage 6-1 (ongoing);

b. Stage 6-2 (will be ongoing);

1) Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan 

a) Period: February 15-May 20, 2025

b) Traffic from North to South will use the west side of Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan and turn in the middle to the east side. While the traffic from South to North is still using the west side of Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan (Transjakarta buses and building access only);

2) Intersection of Jalan Jembatan Batu-Jalan Pintu Besar Selatan (Asemka);

a) Period: February 15-May 20, 2025

b) Tunnel construction on the side of Kota Station, traffic from North to East will be directed to turn left due to traffic island demolition;

Meanwhile, the implementation for Stage 6-3, 6-4 and 6-5 will be updated.

"To reduce traffic congestion, road users are urged to avoid these roads and adjust traffic arrangements, follow traffic signs and instructions from the officers in the field, and prioritize the safety on the road," he asserted.
