Flyover Construction Minimizes Congestion Effectively, Ghozi Zulazmi Hopes

Jakarta City Council's Commission D Legislator, Ghozi Zulazmi hopes the construction of Latumenten and Bintaro Puspita Fylovers will effectively reduce congestion due to railroad crossing.

For that reason, he supports Jakarta Bina Marga Agency in realizing those two flyovers construction this year.

"The flyover construction must be supported well," he said, Thursday (1/23).

He assessed the flyovers construction are needed so that the road and railroad crossings are not at level.

"Executive and Legislative have agreed the budget," he added.

He wants the construction process can be implemented on time and based on determined quality standard.

According to him, the construction impact such as traffic congestion, as well as safety issue must be a concern.

"Traffic engineering could be applied. Massive socialization is also needed," he continued.

Ghozi explained that Jakarta Bina Marga Agency must always monitor the two flyovers construction. Then the residents are able to deliver their suggestion to City Council related to minimize the construction impact.
