East Jakarta Nakertransgi to Host Job Fair at Sub-District Level

East Jakarta Manpower Transmigration and Energy (Nakertransgi) Sub-agency will host a Job Fair at sub-district level.

"So far, Job Fair has been held at Smeco Building. The place is far away and it costs a lot of money to get there,"

This was conveyed by Jakarta Vice Governor Rano Karno at the launch of Job Fair at Tamini Square, on Wednesday (2/26).

"So far, Job Fair has been held at Smeco Building. The place is far away and it costs a lot of money to get there. I want to cut it down and we will host a Job Fair at sub-district level," he stated.

According to him, the reason Job Fair is held in each sub-district is quite simple, because the industrial area is located near the sub-district.

East Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-agency Head, Galuh Prasiwi conveyed that one of the Governor and Vice Govenor's 100-day program is to solve the unemployment issue. Recently, Job Fair is being held at Tamini Square on February 26-27, 2025.

"This Job Fair is expected to accommodate residents from Pasar Rebo, Makasar, Cipayung, Ciracas," she said.

According to her, the next Job Fair will be held at PGC Cililitan to accommodate residents in Kramat Jati, Jatinegara, and Duren Sawit. After that, Job Fair will be continued at Pulogadung Trade Center to accommodate residents in Pulogadung, Cakung, and Matraman.

"The plan to organize Job Fair in each sub-district will be discussed first at city level," she mentioned.
