Yesterday, Jakarta Deputy Governor, Rano Karno reviewed the flood location, and he ensured that the aid provided was right on target and met the basic needs of the affected residents.
"We will keep synergizing with related parties to accelerate recovery," he stressed, while reviewing the distribution of aid for flood-affected residents at the refugee camps at SDN Kampung Melayu 01/02 and Bidara Cina Urban Village Office, East Jakarta.
Based on the data gathered, the East Jakarta Social Sub-agency has distributed 1,100 packaged rice meals and 1,100 bottles of mineral water for sahur for residents in Kampung Melayu and Bidara Cina sub-districts.
As for breaking the fast, 3,800 packaged rice meals and mineral water were distributed to Kampung Melayu, Bidara Cina, Cililitan, Bale Kambang, Cawang, and Gedong sub-districts.
Aside that, additional assistance was also distributed to residents in Kampung Melayu, starting from 20 adult blankets, 20 bales of adult diapers, 20 bales of baby diapers, 10 sacks of 5kg rice, 10 pouches of cooking oil, biscuits, sweet soy sauce, and canned fish.
