South Jakarta Fire and Rescue Sub-agency (Gulkarmat) Head, Syamsul Huda uttered 40 personnel had been deployed since early morning to assist in the evacuation of residents.
"We spread them at all vulnerable points and prepare complete rescue equipment," he explained.
He added the number of rubber boats prepared at all Gulkarmat Posts in South Jakarta reached 32 units.
"To reach the flood location, we also made access roads for residents using Karmantel ropes as some means of holding on and guiding," he closed.
