Job Fair at Pluit Junction Mall Offers 1,500 Vacancies

The North Jakarta Manpower, Transmigration and Energy Sub-agency (Nakertransgi) is currently holding a job fair, offering 1,500 vacancies, in the Pluit Junction Mall, Pluit Urban Village, Penjaringan.

It will be a routine agenda every month

Jakarta Nakertransgi Agency Head, Hari Nugroho said the fair, which is being held from March 5 to 6, 2025, offered vacancies in 38 companies engaged in various field.

"It will be a routine agenda every month. This month, we hold it in North Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and West Jakarta," he expressed, Wednesday (3/5).

He expressed his appreciation to the companies that had contributed to the job fair by opening vacancies.

"Applicants are encouraged to adjust their jobs according to their abilities, interests, and talents to make it easier to be accepted for work," he explained.

According to him, the employment issues faced by the Jakarta Government are still quite high, with an open unemployment rate of 6.03 percent, affecting 327,590 people.

"We continue to increase worker absorption. Besides job fairs, we also have training for jobs and entrepreneurship," he added.

North Jakarta Nakertransgi Sub-agency Head, Noviar Dinaryanti added the fair is the first wave to be held in 2025.

"Our target is 2,500 jobseekers in two days," she added.

She explained it also involved two booths from BP2MI and North Jakarta PPKD, as well as several coached small and medium enterprises (SMEs).

"Several vacancies here are also for people with disabilities," she stated.

Meanwhile, one of the job seekers, Ramos Boris (26), admitted that the job fair was very helpful for him as he is in need of a job.

"I have already applied through this job fair, I hope to be accepted. This job fair is very helpful, it should be held frequently," he admitted.
