North Jakarta PPKD Provides Training for Students with Disabilities

The North Jakarta Regional Job Training Center (PPKD) provided job training for 10 students from Jakarta State Special School 9 (SLBN) on Jalan Sunter Permai Raya, Sunter Agung Urban Village, Tanjung Priok Sub-district.
This is in line with the government's work program
The students with disabilities took part in training through the Mobile Training Unit (MTU) Light Motorcycle Service Batch I 2025 program.
North Jakarta PPKD Head, Faradisa Saforda Basuni said this training is the first to be held to provide equality for Jakarta residents.
Halal Certification Training Attended by 30 Participants"This is in line with the government's work program to improve quality employment opportunities for Jakarta residents, especially job seekers with disabilities," he expressed, Friday (3/7).
He explained they gained expertise through the provision of theoretical and practical materials on light motorbike servicing, including engine repairs, electrical repairs, and maintenance.
"This only lasts for 20 days. We hope they can actively participate in building the economy, take initiative, work, and be independent," he hoped.
He assessed there were no communication difficulties between the instructors and the training participants as the teachers were very active in helping.
"Hope they can make the best use of this training. Thus, they can be absorbed in the industrial world or develop independent entrepreneurship," he hooed.
The training received appreciation from SLBN 9 Jakarta Public Relations Section Vice Principal, Kharisma Fikri Mahardyan.
"This job training is real proof that people with disabilities have the same opportunity to learn and develop," he stated.
Meanwhile, one of the students from SLBN 9 Jakarta, Shosi Abdul Hadi (19), admitted this was the first time he had taken part in MTU light motorbike service training.
"Very useful in increasing knowledge and skills about motorbikes, from previously not knowing to knowing. Anyway, happy to be able to join this training," he admitted.
