we have prepared everything

It was stated by Pramono during the launching of 'Mudik Aman, Keluarga Nyaman' program together with National Police Traffic Corps at Menara Bank Mega, South Jakarta, Friday (3/14).

"Jakarta faces homecoming season easier compared with other regions. It is because we have prepared everything. We also have cooperated with Ministry of Transportation," Pramono said.

Pramono added that Jakarta Provincial Government has prepared Eid Transportation Posts to assist the homecomers, providing additional facilities, providing health check and urine test for drivers, providing health post for homecomers passing Jakarta, and assisting National Police Traffic Corps in vehicle roadworthiness check.

Pramono also highlighted the phenomenon of increasing hotel bookings in Jakarta during the Eid homecoming season and the anticipation of potential influx of migrants after Eid. In fact, data shows a decrease in the number of migrants in 2024 compared to the previous year.

"There were 25,900 newcomers in 2023, then it declined to 15,200 newcomers in 2024. Hopefully this year, the number of newcomers will be relatively normal. We know that Jakarta is place of hope," he explained.

Pramono ensures Jakarta Provincial Government is welcome with the newcomers without holding a justitia operation.

Ending his speech, Pramono stated Jakarta Provincial Government will provide support to National Police Traffic Corps in running the Ketupat Operation to ensure homecoming season runs well.

"We definitely provide support for them fully," he stated.
