Ramadan Creative Market Presents in 7 Locations

Jakarta Provincial Government, Friday (3/14), officially opened the Ramadan Creative Market at Lapangan Banteng, Central Jakarta. The activity that is held up to Sunday (3/16) will be held simultaneously in seven locations of five city administrations.

It is our effort to support MSMEs

Jakarta Vice Governor, Rano Karno said the creative market which is run with the final of beduk festival, is held to enliven Ramadan 1446 H and efforts to preserve Islamic culture in Jakarta.

Rano added that the creative market activity is participated by fostered MSMEs from several regional working units under Jakarta Provincial Government, and traders from Tanah Abang Market.

16 Teams Enliven Beduk Festival in Central Jakarta

"We also invite traders of Tanah Abang Market in the activity," he said.

Meanwhile, the Beduk Festival final was participated by 16 teams representing five city administrations and one regency.

The festival first winner will get Rp 25 million, second winner Rp 20 million and third winner Rp 15 million.

Jakarta Regional Secretary's Assistant of Economy and Financial, Suharini Eliawati, explained this event involves 210 MSMEs of food, beverage, fashion, and gaming.

Not only at Lapangan Banteng, the Ramadan Creative Market is also held in Kota Tua, Tebet Ecopark, Taman Wijaya Kusuma, and Taman Gorontalo.

Jakarta Tourism and Creative Economy Agency also prepares entertainment by presenting various well-known artists and watching movie.

Ramadan Creative Market is held from 3 PM to 8 PM.

"It is our effort to support MSMEs and inivite people to love our culture namely beduk," she stated.
