Additionally, the event also marked the signing of a partnership between the Jakarta Provincial Government and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII). Through this collaboration, KJP Plus cardholders will have free access to TMII.
"The agreement has been signed, meaning students can now visit Taman Mini whenever they wish," he stated.
Besides TMII, KJP Plus cardholders will also have free access to other recreational sites, such as Ragunan, Ancol, Monas, and museums.
Furthermore, Pramono stated that the city government also gives special attention to the Jakarta Excellent Student Card (KJMU) to help college students from underprivileged families continue their education up to undergraduate (S1), master's (S2), and doctoral (S3) level. He targets that next year's KJMU beneficiaries to reach 20,000 people.
On that occasion, he advised KJP plus beneficiaries to study diligently and aim for KJMU, so they can complete their education to the bachelor's degree.
"I specifically advised all of my children to study hard and make your parents proud. Strive to get KJMU, the Jakarta Excellent Student Card, which guarantees you to finish your studies and graduate," he expressed.
On the other hand, he also conveyed the Jakarta Provincial Government's commitment to resolving the issue of withheld diplomas affecting tens of thousands of students by implementing a program to clear outstanding educational fees.
With improvements in education, he hopes that students will be able to improve their family's quality of life and enhance their welfare.
"Without receiving proper education, as mentioned by DPRD Vice Chairperson earlier, it would be impossible for all of you to improve your family's quality of life and break the cycle of poverty," he asserted.
One of the KJP Plus beneficiaries, Christine Hana Winarko, expressed her gratitude and appreciation to Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung for the educational assistance provided. She is confident that through the KJP Plus program, she will be able to achieve her dreams and improve her quality of life.
"I'm really happy and I want to say thank you to Mr. Pramono as the Governor of Jakarta, as well as to the DPRD and others," said Christine with a smile.
