Commission D Appreciates City Covers Medical Costs of Residents Affected by Rorotan RDF Plant

Jakarta City Council's Commission D member, Bun Joi Phiau appreciated Jakarta Governor, Pramono Anung for his act responding resident's complaint while visiting the Rorotan Refuse Derived Plant (RDF).

"We appreciate Pramono to directly see the problems complained by the residents. Hopefully he can find the solution," he said, Friday (3/21).

As for information, Pramono visited Rorotan RDF plant to review the commissioning process or trial of waste processing into fuel. Pramono asked Jakarta Environmental Agency to add deodorizer and air quality monitoring station.

Pramono: Jakarta to Cover Medical Costs for Rorotan RDF-Affected Residents

Bun Joi assessed that Pramono is responsible as governor for the health of residents affected by the Rorotan RDF Plant trial.

Bun Joi appeals Jakarta Environmental Agency to quickly respond Governor's direction.

"The agency must respond the governor's direction related to adding the deodorizer and air quality monitoring device," he stated.
