East Jakarta Satpol PP Collaborates to Maintain a Conducive Atmosphere

Some 562 Jakarta Satpol PP personnel collaborated with related elements to create public order during the flow and return flow of homecoming.

East Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Budhy Novian said personnel were deployed to secure 16 integrated posts at terminals, routes for travelers, borders with buffer areas, places of worship, and tourist destinations.

"We want East Jakarta to remain in a conducive atmosphers, as well as the flow and return flow of homecoming," he expressed, Monday (3/24).

He explained personnel were deployed to Pulogebang Integrated Terminal, Kampung Rambutan Terminal, and Jatingera Station.

Then also posts on Jalan Matraman Raya, Jalan Laksamana Malahayati, intersection og Jalab Haji Naman, and Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII).

"They will also assist in security at several public cemeteries (TPUs) to ensure the smoothness for those who come to pay their respects during the Eid moment," he explained.

To prevent security and public order disturbances, personnel would also be deployed to patrol residential areas considering that many houses are vacant as people have left for the holiday.

"For empty house patrols, we also collaborate with the sub-district elements and the military/police as well. We'll patrol the residential areas every night," he closed.
