Securing Eid, 1,300 Satpol PP Personnel Deployed

Jakarta Satpol PP is about to prepare 1,300 personnel everyday during the Eid holidays 2025.

This is carried out to ensure security, public order and public tranquility in various locations, including tourist attractions and settlements left by homecoming travelers.

Jakarta Satpol PP Head, Satriadi Gunawan said his 5,300 personnel are divided into different work schedules.

"There are 1,300 personnel on duty everyday according to the schedules adjustment," he said, Tuesday (3/25).

During the duty, Satriadi added, Jakarta Satpol PP will cooperate with Army, Police, and related agencies. Security is focused on settlements that are often abandoned by homecoming travelers and tourist attractions that are expected to be crowded with people.

Jakarta Satpol PP will also use its operational vehicles to support the mobilization. Each urban villages has its own operational vehicle. There are more than 200 vehicles in total.

"Quick Reaction Unit by 80 motorcycles. Every 267 urban villages have their own operational motorcycles," he added.

Jakarta Satpol PP divides the motorists role into two types namely coaching and monitoring the area by the heads of task forces, as well as special motorists of the Quick Reaction Unit who handle emergency situations.

Moreover, Satpol PP may also control Social Welfare Service Needs (PPKS) people that often appear at tourism sites during Eid.

"It will be collaborated with Social Agency. Jakarta Satpol PP tries to ensure the security and comfort of residents during Eid holidays 2025," he stated.
