On this occasion, Khoirudin supported Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung's decision not to hold a justice operation, as Jakarta is an open city for everyone.
"Jakarta is open to anyone. Feel free to come, as long as they have an ID card," he stated.
He advised newcomers to Jakarta should have skills that will serve as their asset to find a job.
"And they must have family members who accompany them or are already here. Otherwise, who will help them in Jakarta?" he said.
He also expressed his gratitude to the free homecoming participants who have helped boost Jakarta's economy. He reminded them not to forget to return to Jakarta.
"We also rely on homecomers, because if they don't comeback (to Jakarta), the people's economic and social needs will be disrupted, we in Jakarta will have trouble finding vegetables, food, and even rental housing," he mentioned.
