Transjakarta Ready to Support People's Mobility This Eid

PT Transportasi Jakarta (Transjakarta) will continue to operate throughout Eid al-Fitr holidays to facilitate people's mobility, making it easier for those traveling to their hometowns or visiting tourist destinations.

On Eid, however, Transjakarta will adjust its service hours, starting operations at 9 AM instead of the usual 5 AM

Transjakarta Public Relations and CSR Department Head, Ayu Wardhani, reassured that people need not worry, as Transjakarta is ready to accommodate the mobility needs of passengers on the first day of Eid, Monday (3/31).

On Eid, however, Transjakarta will adjust its service hours, starting operations at 9 AM instead of the usual 5 AM.

Transjakarta Provides Eid Transportation Services for Homecoming Travelers

"This adjustment is made so that our staff can perform the Eid prayers and spend time with their families before getting back to work to serve our passengers," she added, on Sunday (3/30).

Ayu also mentioned that Transjakarta will provide services to tourist destinations on Eid holidays, including regular services (BRT and non-BRT) as well as special tourist routes.

Here are some regular routes to tourist spots in Jakarta:

• Routes to Monas

Corridor 1 (Blok M - Kota), Route 1A (Pantai Maju - Balai Kota), Route 1P (Senen - Blok M), Corridor 2 (Pulo Gadung - Monumen Nasional), Route 2A (Pulo Gadung - Rawa Buaya), Corridor 3 (Kalideres - Monuman Nasional Via Veteran), Route 5C (Cililitan - Juanda), Route 5H (Juanda- Ancol), Route 6A (Ragunan - Balai Kota Via Kuningan), Route 6B (Ragunan - Balai Kota Via Semanggi), 7F (Kp. Rambutan - Juanda Via Cempaka Putih), and 14A (Monumen Nasional - JIS).

• Routes to Ragunan

Corridor 6 (Ragunan - Galunggung), Route 6A (Ragunan - Balai Kota Via Kuningan), Route 6B (Ragunan - Balai Kota Via Semanggi, Route 6N (Ragunan - Senayan Bank DKI), Route 5N (Ragunan - Kampung Melayu), Route 6N (Ragunan - Blok M Via Kemang), and Route 7E (Kp. Rambutan - Ragunan).

• Routes to Kota Tua

Corridor 1 (Blok M- Kota), Route 3H (Damai - Kota), Corridor 12 (Pluit - Tj. Priok), Route 1A (Pantai Maju - Balai Kota), and Route 12B (Pluit - Senen).

• Route to Pantai Indah Kapuk (PIK)

Route 1A (Pantai Maju - Balai Kota)

• Route to Taman Mini Indonesia Indah (TMII)

Route 7D (TMII - Pancoran)

Customers can also explore Jakarta city by using Transjakarta's special tourist services with the following routes:

• BW 1 History of Jakarta

• BW 2 Monas Explorer

• BW 4 Skyscrapper

• BW 9 Kota Tua PIK

"Regular services during Eid holidays are available from 5 AM to 10 PM, while 24 hours for the main corridors. Meanwhile, Transjakarta's Tourist Bus services will operate from 8 AM to 6 PM," she explained.
